When I’m not shooting:
Find me teaching at Algonquin College, reading a science fiction book, or listening to Stevie Nicks. I love science fiction, 70s music, learning about art history, and eating pasta. I’m a social butterfly who truly takes interest in people’s passions. Photography is a passion that I’ve worked so tirelessly to be able to call my career. Proudly, an ally of the Ottawa LGBTQ2+ community.

Owner and operator of Melody Maloney Photo. A published Commercial Photographer based in Ottawa. With works in Edible Ottawa to Legion Magazine, I love to connect with people and share their stories in a polished and professional way.
With a focus on interior architecture, portraiture, and event photography, I am always excited to take on new projects and help client's visions come to life.
In addition to my passion for photography, my love of education shines through as an Instructor at Algonquin College. Educating at Algonquin for half a decade, I’ve taught different courses involving photography in Applied Museum Studies and The Photography Program.
